SHORT BIO
LINDA SUSSMAN is a NY-based award-winning singer-songwriter whose music is an Americana mix of alt-folk & blues that digs deep into our shared human experience. With songs of courage, love, struggles and triumphs, Linda's vocals are reminiscent of Joan Baez, while her versatile guitar style includes open tunings, strong fingerstyle and a bit of acoustic slide. As Ron Cooke (KTAL host) says: “Linda makes songs worth listening to. She makes the personal universal and the universal personal.” The many stages Linda has played range from the iconic NYC venues The Bitter End and Kenny's Castaways to the Long Island Music Hall of Fame and Landmark on Main Street's Jeanne Rimsky Theater to the more intimate Radio Bean (VT). Her music has charted #1 on the RMR's weekly Alternative Folk Album Chart and is played on radio internationally. Since 2018, Linda has released six full-length albums with her studio musicians.
